Birdneck Lake neighborhood is a small beach community, consisting of 185 single family homes located 3 miles from the Virginia Beach resort area. Our amenities include 2 playgrounds, a community pool, and a natural spring lake. Birdneck Lake is maintained by a Homeowners Association and also has an active Civic League that unites the neighbors for numerous fun events throughout the year.

About Birdneck Lake Civic League

Our neighborhood is rich with diversity, and each of our ideas and perspectives are important to developing a robust and engaged civic league. Birdneck Lake is an intimate and social community close to the oceanfront, where neighbors are friends. Whether getting together for a neighborhood gathering or just greeting each other at the pool, parks or in our front yards, we take pride in delivering hospitality and kindness to all of our neighbors. The Birdneck Lake Civic League is an organization made up of dedicated volunteer residents who promote and protect community interests.

We strive to continuously improve our neighborhood while organizing community events for everyone to enjoy.  We invite all residents and homeowners to join the Birdneck Lake Civic League. The civic league's mission is to be a positive force in the neighborhood, by promoting goodwill among residents and pride in the community.
